TROY, Betty Mae

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 12, 2003 Betty Mae Troy, 79, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2003 at her home. Betty was born in Syracuse, NY. She served in the Army from 1944-45. Moved to Phoenix in the early 50's with her husband, George (deceased). Betty raised four children, Sherry Dudek, William Troy, Kathryn Reynolds and Bertha Ann Troy. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church, a Girl Scout Leader, and member of the Women of the Moose. She retired from H&R block in 1998 after 25 years. Betty will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at Chapel of the Chimes, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at St. Jerome's Parish, 10815 N. 35th Ave., Phoenix. Final resting place Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 W. Thomas Rd.
