BICKLE, James Herbert

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona 12/15/2009 James Herbert Bickle, 82, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, after a brief illness. Jim retired from AirResearch/Garrett Corp. after 29 years as a manufacturing engineer. Jim and his wife, Fran, lived in Lakeside from 1984 until 2001. Remember him with the smile he always had to share. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 61 years, Frances and their five children, Janis (Gary) Gardner, Francy (John) Davirro, Mary (Mike) Kanaga, Jim Jr. (Becky), Faith (Charlie) McNeely; eight grandchildren Jenny, Jon, Josh, Jacob, Belen, Katie, Abbee, Cindy and great-granddaughter Alexis. He is also survived by sister, Shirley (Jack) Pease of East Liverpool, Ohio and brothers Bill (Arlene) Bickle also of East Liverpool and Bob (Jackie) Bickle of Bradenton, Fla. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Henry and Katie McLaughlin Bickle and brother Harry Bickle. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Jan. 5 [2010]at Bethany Bible Church, 6060 N 7th Ave. in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's name to the Phoenix Rescue Mission or Valley of the Sun Hospice.
