ADAMS, Mildred Nellie (Millie)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 15, 2003 Mildred Nelle Adams, 76, died January 13 at the Kivel Campus of Care, where she had been residing for the past three years. Born in Phoenix on Feb. 14, 1926 to the late H.I. Morse and Ruth Moore Morse, "Millie" graduated from Phoenix Union High School and the University of Arizona. While raising her family, she worked for KOOL Radio, the Northwest Phoenix YMCA, and as Director of Promotions for Chris Town Mall. In later years, she taught yoga classes at the Washington Adult Center. She is survived by son, Gregory M. Adams of Herndon, Virginia, daughter, Kathleen L. Adams of Glendale, Az., four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, Jan. 17 at Greenwood Memory Lawn in Phoenix.
