Julia A. Taylor, 76, of Phoenix, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday January 12, 2003 at 4:00 a.m. 

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jack Taylor; daughter, Loretta Salmon and husband Charles; son, Reece Taylor and wife Linda; grandchildren, Michael Cortesi, Scott Taylor, Jackie Pryor, Shelley Starnes and Cory Cortesi; great-grandchildren Chelsea Cunningham, Austin Pryor, Mikalya Pryor, Hanna Cortesi, Bethany Starnes and Alyssa Cortesi; sisters Joanne Caputo and Jayne Turk; brother Franklin Smith. 

Julia was a great influence on all who knew her and will be deeply missed. She was also a member of Fitness West for over 13 years. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to the Foundation for the JR blind, 5300 Angeles Vista Blvd, Los Angeles, Ca., 90043-1698. 

Services are to be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 17, 2003 at Camelback Sunset Chapel, 301 W. Camelback, Phoenix, Az.
