EATON, Eugene W.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 13, 2003 Eugene W. Eaton, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on February 10, 2003 at Desert Samaritan Hospital with his family at his side. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on July 30, 1921. He served with the 105th Army Airways Communication System in WWII. Eugene retired in 1980 from General Telephone & Electric (GTE) after 31 years of service. He and his wife moved to Phoenix in 1984. Eugene was a loving father and husband of 56 years. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sharon. He is survived by his loving wife June; 4 children, Judie Goodman of Mesa Arizona, Barbara Limbacher of Lewisville, Texas, Paul Eaton of Flower Mound, Texas, Jean Eaton of Georgetown, Delaware. He loved and enjoyed all 10 of his grandchildren, and his 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14, at 3 p.m at the Utopia Manor Clubhouse.
