Edith A. Baier, of Phoenix, passed away August 13, 2002. Mrs. Baier was born in 1916 in Nebraska.
Edith and her loving husband, Earl, moved to Arizona in 1953, where they briefly settled in Prescott. While in Prescott, Edith and Earl gave birth to their only daughter, Jacquelyn. Edith, Earl and Jacquelyn moved to Phoenix together in 1955.
Despite the loss of her husband in 1971, Edith raised her daughter Jacque and played an active role in the lives of her two grandchildren, Kevin and Mark.
Edith loved singing in her church choir, cooking fabulous meals for her family, and creating beautiful crafts and handiwork. Edith was a special woman who touched the hearts of all those she met.
Edith was predeceased by her parents Lee and Leah Kincaid, and her baby sister Louise Gibbons. Edith is survived by her daughter, Jacque and three step-daughters: Sharon, Sheila, and Sandy; her two grandsons: Kevin and Mark; her son-in-law, Arthur and two step-grandchildren, Matthew and Aaron.
