Lucille Ray, 97, of Phoenix, passed away February 10, 2003.
Mrs Ray was born on December 11, 1905 in Potter, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and co-owner of Physician's and Surgeons Pharmacy and Ray's Pharmacy, a member of Phoenix Women's Club since 1947, Freedom Foundation Pilletts (wives of state pharmacist) and a very avid sports fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Ray, daughter, Maxine Berg, parents, brother, Carl Elquest, sister, Lorrine McCrary, and grandson, Monty Whitaker. Survivors include her son; Bob Whitey Ray, sister; Dorothy Reed, five grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014, Women's Club of Phoenix Scholarship Fund, 400 West Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013, or Freedom's Foundation, Sun City West.
