WOOD, Mary Margaret

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 13, 2003 Mary Margaret Wood, 88, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away February 11, 2003. Mary was born September 2, 1914 in Mountainair, New Mexico. Mary moved to Arizona in 1942 from New Mexico, where she was employed by Roosevelt School District for 15 years as a Dessert Cook. She retired in 1979. She also received many culinary awards. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Eugene W. Wood in 1976, 1 son, James Wesley Wood, 1 daughter, Ida Phara Koslowsky. Survivors include her daughters, Mae Belle Martin of Mesa, AZ, Geraldine Brown of Bowie, AZ, Ann Quinn of Tempe, AZ, 15 grandchildren, 31 great grand-children, and 12 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held February 13, 2003, 6-8 PM, Resthaven Park Mortuary. Services will be held February 14, 2003, 11:00 AM, Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phx., AZ.
