HAYES, H. Katherine

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, January 16, 2003 H. Katherine Hayes, 88, passed away January 12, 2003,in the home of her daughter. She was born August 1, 1914 in Cainsville, Missouri. She was married to William Alvah Hayes, and together, they moved their family from Taylorville, Illinois to Phoenix, Arizona in 1954. She is survived by one son, William Alvah Hayes, Jr. and two daughters, Patricia Cook of Sun City, and Karen Comer of Litchfield Park; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Donna Springfield. Visitation will be at East Resthaven Chapel in Phoenix from 10-11 a.m., Friday, January 17. Graveside services and burial will follow the visitation at East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, Az. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
