Ana Y. Covarrubias, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 16, 2002. She was born on November 26, 1917 in Rayon Sonora, Mexico and was 84 years old. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; H. Gilbert Covarrubias. She is survived by her sons; John, David, Gilbert, Roy and Reynaldo; daughter, Suise, one brother; Carlos Ybarra from Nogales Mexico, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

Visitation and rosary for friends and family Monday, August 19, 2002, at Tempe Mortuary, 405 East Southern Ave., Tempe, Arizona. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 20, 2002, at Church of the Resurrection, 3201 S. Evergreen Rd. Tempe, Arizona. 

The Covarrubias family is deeply appreciative of the care given to their mother, Ana, by all of the nurses, doctors and aides at Friendship Village of Tempe.
