PANTER, Sog Riley


Sog Riley Panter 82, of Scottsdale AZ, passed away on June 29, 2002. He retired in 1976 after a long career in manufacturing sales. He was born in Honolulu on August 6, 1919 and then moved to La Junta, Colorado. He was graduated from Colorado College where he played football and was drafted by two professional football teams but instead chose to fight for his country. He served as Lt. Commander in the Navy during WWII. While attending Colorado College he was president of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly fifty years, Martha Ann.
