The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 14, 2003 William J. Kinnally, 88, of Paradise Valley, AZ died Feb. 10, 2002. Bill was born in Gary, IN on Jan. 30, 1915. Educated as a Rector Scholar at Depauw University, he was president of his fraternity, Sigma Chi, and an outstanding athlete in football and basketball. He went on to get a Law degree from Indiana University. After briefly practicing law, Bill began a lifelong association with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. in Milwaukee, WI as an agent specializing in estate planning for individuals and corporations. Bill not only became a member of the Million Dollar Round Table his first year as an agent but went on to achieve that status every year of his career. His focus was on family and travel during his marriage to Barbara Thompson Kinnally and after her death during his marriage to Marie Williams Kinnally. Bill's love of sports continued throughout his life as a participant and a spectator. Bill is survived by his wife, Marie; daughters, Sue Dean and Joanne Failing; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; step children, Rick Williams (Kathy), Robert Williams (Chris), Annie Williams (Steve Sampson); 4 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sat., Feb. 15, 2003, from 2-5 PM at Messinger Mortuary, 7601. E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. Service will be held on Sun., Feb. 16, 2002, at 3 PM at Paradise Valley United Methodist Chapel, 4455 E. Lincoln Dr., Paradise Valley, AZ 85253. In lieu of flowers Bill's family would like donation to Depauw University, Director of Planned Giving, 300 E Seminary St., Greencastle, IN 46135; Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
