FOUNTAIN, Roberta Imadell

Chino Valley Review, Chino Valley, Arizona Wednesday, December 23, 2009 Roberta Imadell Fountain, age 97, of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away on Dec. 16, 2009. She was born on July 24, 1912, in Hannibal, Mo., to Joseph and Jessie Gould. Roberta graduated from Hannibal High School and later married James Fountain. They moved to Arizona in 1965 and stayed. Roberta was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and many hobbies. She bowled in two leagues until the age of 88. She loved going to the casino. Making zucchini bread for all her grandkids was her passion. She also enjoyed reading and playing cards with family and friends. Roberta was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed. Roberta is preceded in death by her husband, James Fountain; daughter Bonnie Little; and her son, Jim Fountain. She is survived by her son Bo (Beth) Fountain; son-in-law Bob Little; grandchildren Linda (Sonny) Stazenski, Mike (Denisa) Little, Brandy (Ricky) Tobias, Jimmy, Robbie, and Bonnie Fountain; 13 great grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, in The Victorian Chapel at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz.
