PETERSEN, Linda Jean

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Friday, January 17, 2003 Linda Jean Petersen, passed away January 12, 2003 in Mesa, Arizona. She was born December 20, 1966 in Portland, Oregon to Leroy & Kaye (Jenison) Petersen. Linda loved the outdoors and her pets. Her active lifestyle included scuba diving, hiking, golfing, outings to Lake Powell and anything having to do with fun. She enjoyed vacations and holidays with friends and family, especially the time spent with her nephews, Ryan & Zach. She worked as an Air Traffic Controller in the Phoenix tower. She loved her job and took it seriously. Linda was proud to have contributed to thousands of successful take-offs and landings. She will be missed by all of us. Linda is survived by her father, sister, Debbie Petersen, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother. Services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of Prayer, 108 N. 56th St. in Mesa, Az.
