BERRY, Alystia M.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, January 18, 2003 Alystia M. Beery, 89, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on January 15, 2003. She was born on February 24, 1913 in St. Joseph, Michigan. She moved to Arizona in 1955 from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She raised ten children, was an expert seamstress and crafter, and was active in her retirement community. Mrs. Beery was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, daughter, Stella Allgor and son, Robert Berry. She is survived by her remaining children, Doris Carlisle (Sam), Frances Adams, Barbara Wyse, Judy Crockett, Richard Beery (Anita), Sharon Haugan (Mel), Jack Beery (Susan), and Carol Pope, twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-two great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
