BLUMENTRITT, Herbert J.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Saturday, January 18, 2003 Herbert J. Blumentritt, passed away on Wednesday January 15, 2003 in Sun City West, Arizona at the age of 86. He was born March 11, 1916 in Chester, Minn. to Herbert C. Blumentritt and F1orence G. Sproule. Herbert to Sun City West in 1982 from St. Paul, Minn. where he retired from Sperry Univac as a Controller, after 19 years of service. Herbert received his B.B.A. degree from the University of Minnesota. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sun City West and served on the Finance Committee. He also was chairman of the Hillcrest Dance Club in Sun City West for two years. Herbert is survived by his two daughters, Diane (Robert) Aldridge of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y. and Nancy Schmid of lnver Grove Heights, Minn.; one sister, Dolores Dale of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday January 19, 2003 from 3-5 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel 13738 Camino del Sol; Sun City West, Az. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday January 20, 2003 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 19002 N. l28th Ave. Sun City West, Az.
