Leah Jean Hershey, 51, of Glendale, Arizona passed away January 17, 2003. She was born in Springfield, Ill.
She worked for AG Communication Systems for 15 years.
She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved to dance and play golf.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Emma Gentry Brian and her brother, Robert Dunn.
She is survived by her husband, Isaac L. Hershey, her daughters, Maria (Joe) McCoy of Trenton, N.J. and Leah McCoy of Phoenix, Az., step-daughters, Lisa (Michael) Riggs of San Antonio, Tx., Denise (Ronald) Swayne and Teresa (Douglas) Hutchens of Phoenix, Az., step-son, Gary (Dorothy) Hershey of Peoria, Az. and eleven grandchildre; her father, Robert Dunn, sisters, Laura (Jeff) Blanchard of Ocean Springs, Ms., and Carla (Steve) Grandcolas of Fairview Heights, IL and her brothers, Myirl (Geraldine) Dunn of Machesney Park, Ill. and Carl Brian of Fernley, Nev.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, January 19, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, Az.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave., Suite A100, Phoenix, Az., 85021.
