Eva Beth Nobley, of Phoenix, Arizona, went to be with her beloved Jesus Christ on January 14, 2003. She was born on September 24, 1937 in Phoenix, the youngest of four children.
She attended Emerson Elementary and then North High School. She then went to Phoenix Junior College and performed on the Pom Line. Her next stop was Arizona State University where she obtained her degree in Elementary Education.
Along the way, in 1958, Eva married Willard, thus beginning a wonderful, adventure filled, romance that bloomed for 44 years.
After raising her six children, she then taught 4th grade at Orangedale Elementary school for 21 years, retiring in 1997 to spend more time with her twelve grandchildren.
She truly enjoyed the beaches of San Diego and Cholla Bay, Mexico, golfing with her friends, her Bible Study groups, all forms of traveling and shopping.
Of course, her greatest joy in life was being a Mother and Grandmother.
Eva impacted so many lives with her unique laughter, her kindness, her Spirtual strength, and her tremendous Love of Live and people. We are all a little better for having known and been touched by this lady of dignity and class.
Eva is survived by her husband, Willard, mother Marie Grammar, sisters, Gyrene Grammar and Ardys Sandell and brother, Ben Grammar; her children, Sheryl Nobley, Shelly Spencer (Charlie), Dawn Sokol (Chuck), Jill Corrigan (Kris), Dennis Nobley (Christine), and Brat Nobley (Marilou); her grandchildren, Bryan and Cameron Spencer, Jessica and Derrick Sokol, Peyton, Brennan and Kellan Corrigan, Garrett, Sierra and Wyatt Nobley, and Nathan & Noah Nobley.
A Celebration of Eva's Life will be held Monday, January 20th, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Scottsdale Bible Chapel (not the church), located at 7901 East Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, Az.
