The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 15, 2003 Magda Topper Pace, 1911-2003. On February 10, 2003, Magda Topper Pace was born into eternal life. Such a journey is difficult for everyone involved, but some of life's most precious accomplishments are done through people's most challenging situations. Topper Pace has always been an interesting person full of hope, optimism, and vigor. She has a love for work having worked well into her 80s as a hairdresser. She enjoys talking to people, even when her stories become revised and animated she always has a moral to her story. And she loves her city and her neighborhood. No matter what significant changes occur in her East Phoenix neighborhood, she embraces it unconditionally and wholeheartedly. The same holds true for her political beliefs and her family. You will never convince Topper Pace that her Democratic Party, nor any of her immediate family could ever commit an unpardonable sin. Her loyalty remains priceless. Every day that Topper Pace lives in Eternity will be a day of cat petting and overfeeding, of yard tending and newspaper reading, of Suns watching, and photo-making, of phone calls and conversation. Everyday of her eternal life, and the remainder of our lives, will be wonderful, because she and we, have the power and God's love within us to make it that way -- no matter what!
