The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 15, 2003 Rose Annette Grady Sisco. b. July 10, 1916 d. Feb 12, 2003. Rose passed into the arms of Jesus and is now with her beloved husband "Smokie". Rose was born in Pampa, Texas on July 10, 1916 to Thomas Grady and Florence Noel. She married Charles CIarence Sisco on July 8, 1933 in Sayre, Oklahoma. Smokie and Rose moved to Arizona in 1935 and lived at 14th Avenue and Van Buren until moving to Peoria, Arizona before WWII. In 1949 they moved to Glendale where her husband had built the home she always wanted. Rose lived in Glendale until she had to move in 1999. Rose worked in Glendale for Ryan Evans Drugs, Grubers, and retiring from the Glendale Elementary School system. Her husband and grandson precede Rose in death Charles "Smokie" & Charles "Chuck" Sisco. Rose is survived by her daughter Gay Sisco DeLoach (Harold) of Glendale, sons Glen Sisco (Lucy) of Strawberry, Tommie Sisco (Joan) of Phoenix, Grandchildren: Ron Bias, Craig Sisco, Mike Bias, Cindy Sisco, Peggy Rodriguez, Chris Sisco, Diane Anderson, and Julie Lindgren, 18 great grandchild ren, 1 great granddaughter also survive her. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2003 with a Scripture Service beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, Az. Interment will be 3pm, Tuesday, February 18th at Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale, AZ. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
