Alice Greenough, 86, passed away Jan. 10, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born in England, Aug. 10, 1916.
Alice fell in love with a wonderful man named Samuel Greenough whom she married on May 29, 1934. They had one daughter named Evelyn.
Sam and Alice immigrated to Canada where they worked in a cotton mill before opening their own Fish & Chip shop. They later immigrated to the United States and bought a home in South Gate.
For awhile Alice worked as a shoe clerk for Kinney's.
In 1965 Alice was blessed with her granddaughter, Lisa. Alice became a housewife and played a big role in raising her granddaughter.
Alice and Sam took Lisa on many trips to Europe, Hawaii and on Caribbean cruises.
Services will be a private sea scattering. S
he touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
