ROBINSON, Walter C.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 19, 2003 Walter C. Robinson, 86, of Scottsdale, Arizona, died Jan. 16, 2003. Born in Smiley, Texas on April 24, 1916, he moved to Arizona 56 years ago from Smiley, Tx. He was an Army Veteran of World War II and attended Texas Lutheran University. He retired in 1984 from the City of Prescott Utility Dept. after 25 years. His wife, Mary L., and his son, Timothy, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Brown; sons, James and Charles Robinson, and Thomas Procter; sisters, Weslene Rees, Lottie McGinley and Robbie Hadlock; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. at Messinger Mortuary Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale, Az.
