SETTLE, Albert Frank, Sr.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 19, 2003 Albert (Bert) Frank Settle, Sr., 56, born June 2, 1946. Died January 16, 2003 after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Bert went to school at Rio Vista and Sunland Elementery schools and South Mountain H.S. Throughout his life he worked as a heavy equipment oper-ator, project manager, owner of various construction companies. He retired from the construction industry. All those who knew him will miss his unique sense of humor and caring heart. He is preceded in death by his father, Bill Settle, mother, Margaret Mills and brother, Howard Settle. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy Tebo and Bryan, sons, Bert Settle Jr., Justin Settle, Jason Settle, seven grandchildren, sister, Patricia Carter and Jack, brothers, Jim Settle and Elli, Alvin Settle and Clara, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Tues., January 21, 5-7 p.m., services on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Avenue. Interment Resthaven Park Cemetery.
