Joseph Edward Bartkoski age 76, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2002 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri after a 3 year illness. Joe and his wife, Betty and their family lived in Phoenix from 1961 to 1978 when they returned to Missouri. While in Phoenix, Joe was employed by the City of Phoenix and attended SS Simon and Jude Cathedral. Survivors include his wife, Betty of 54 years; 3 sons, Tom of Everett, Washington, Edward of El Dorado Springs, Missouri and Jeffrey of Springfie1d, Missouri; 12 daughters. Patricia Many of Springfield, Missouri, Virginia Binder, Jodi Cauthon, Rosemary Turner, Eileen Gooden and Rebecca Collins, all of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, Barbara Jessup of Grand Junction, Colorado, Margaret Sherman and Beverly Schroeder, both of Glendale, Arizona, Kathleen Porter of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Carolyn Crisp of Hollister, Missouri and Betty Jo Convery of Bloomington, Illinois; 40 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services Friday morning, July 5, 2002 at the Hackleman Chapel in El Dorado Springs, Missouri with interment at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Dederick, Missouri.
