GRANVILLE, Joan Patricia

Joan Patricia (Knox) Granville born August 2, 1930 in New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 29, 2002. Survived by her husband of 53 years, Warren and her children Richard, Warren (Diana), Anne Marie (Ralph Churchman) and Joanne, also her grandchildren Ryan and Kara Churchman, and Martin Granville. Since moving to Arizona in 1973, Joan will be remembered by a great many friends who also traveled from New York (Fun City Survivors and 1013 Club), as well as from her 16 years as a volunteer at Thunderbird Samaritan Hospital. A Celebration of Life Service was held on Thursday, July 4, 2002 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd. Peoria, AZ 85381. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, July 5, 2002 at St Helen's Catholic Church, 5510 W. Cholla St., Glendale, AZ 85304 (623-979-4202). In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Joan Granville's honor to the GCC Nursing Scholarship Fund C/O Granville Family 4915 W. Corrine Dr., Phoenix, AZ 85304.
