TOBIN, Manuel Granillo


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, January 19, 2003 Manuel Granillo Tobin, 82, of Tempe, Arizona, has gone to be with our Lord. He passed away January 16th, 2003 after a long illness. He was a WWII Veteran, having served in the Army from 1941-1945. He was a Tempe native and worked for the Hayden Flour Mills, the Magna Copper Mines and the City of Tempe. He was preceded in death by his daughter Margaret. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Catalina and his nine children, daughters, Gloria Jungbluth, Christine Morones, Veronica Guzman, Carol Bounds, Ulisa Singer, and his four sons, Manuel Robert, Danny, Victor, and Greg Tobin, he has eighteen grandchildren, and sixteen grea-grandchildren; two sisters Sally Mendez, and Lola Dominguez, and two brothers Benny and George Escalante. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, with a visitation on Monday, January 20, 2003 from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Mortuary.
