THARP, Charles Harvey

Charles Harvey Tharp 77, of Phoenix Arizona, Merchant Marines, passed away June 29, 2002. He was born October 3, 1924 in Denver, Colorado. 

Survivors include his wife June M. Tharp; daughter, Patricia Shurtleff; sons  Glenn E. Tharp and Wayne A. Tharp; sister Gertrude Mahan, 13 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren. 

Visitation Friday, July 5, 2002 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 325 W. Coral Gables Dr., Phoenix, AZ. Closed casket funeral service in the Chapel following the visitation July 5, 2002. Interment at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona. Contributions: Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower Street, Phx, AZ.
