SCHULTZ, Josephine G. (Jo)


Josephine G. Schultz "Jo", age 68, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on July 1, 2002. She was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Phoenix in 1957. She worked for Sperry Flight Systems (autopilots for 747's) prior to returning to school to achieve her licensed practical nursing certification and working at St. Joseph's Hospital, BNI unit, until retiring in 1989. After moving to Dewey, AZ, she became an active member in the Sewing Guild, sewing for Dress-A-Child and making tremendous teddy bears. She loved life, camping, fishing, exploring the outdoors and fellowship at Mt. View Baptist Church in Dewey. She loved studying the bible. Jo and her husband Raymond recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Jo is survived by her husband, Raymond; one son, Barry Schultz (Julie); three daughter, Edna Friesen (John), Donna Quay (Gary), Terry Famas (Dale) and 12 grandchildren; sisters, Irene Botta of Lansing, IL and Dorothy Adams of Friendship, WI and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Her kind soul and precious spirit and smile will be missed by all. Memorial services will be held at Sunrise Funeral Home on Friday July 5, 2002.
