Debra Gonzales Gray, age 46, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away suddenly and peacefully at her home in Abilene, Texas on January 17, 2003. She was born in Stafford, Arizona on September 7, 1956 to Joe Gonzales and Vera Keppler.
She was married to Fred Gray, for 25 wonderful years. Debra was an outstanding wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Most of all she was a selfless, courageous, caring and giving person; she was a true child of God. Debra was a pillar of society; she devoted her entire life to God and family. She loved her family and friends more than anyone could express with words. She spent countless hours helping anyone and everyone in anyway she could.
Her daughter, Andrea Gray, precedes her in death.
She is survived by her husband Fred Gray, daughters, Nycole and Lucrecia, son, Andrew; father and mother, Joe and Vera Gonzales, sister, Teresa Villalba and brothers; Joe Jr., Frank, Danny and Albert; grandmother, aunts, Jo Ann and Rosemary, uncles, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, evening, January 22nd from 6-8 p.m. at Universal Memorial Center, 1100 E. Jefferson, Phoenix, Az. and Rosary at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Church of the Resurrection, 3201 S. Evergreen, Tempe, Az. at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23rd.
Interment will follow at East Resthaven Park Cemetery, 4310 E. Southern, Phoenix, Az.
Arrangements are entrusted to Universal Memorial Center.
