SMITH, Donald Joe (Smitty)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, January 21, 2003 Donald Joe Smith, (Smitty), 57, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away January 17, 2003. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Melynda; five children, Randy, Leslie, Mark, Tammera and Mack; five grandchildren, Tari Beth, Brianna, Mack Jr., Ashton and Angelo Jr.; mother, Ethel; sister, Peggy; and two brothers Harold and Roy. His father Clifford preceeded him in death. Visitation will be held at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2003. Funeral services will be held at Carr Tenney Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery. Smitty was loved very much by lots of friends and family.
