WOOD, Lillie Mae

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, January 21, 2003 Lillie Mae Bragg Wood, 89, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away January 18, 2003 and is moving on to a place of Peace and Serenity. She was born in Oxford, North Carolina. She worked for the Marriott Corporation and retired after 25 years. She lived in Arizona for the past 21 years. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her 3 sons and many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Lula Moss and father, Walter Brown Bragg and her brother, Walter Brown Bragg Jr., and her sisters, Armitta Farris Bragg and Erma Tyson Bragg and her husband, James Robert Wood, Jr. She is survived by her sons, James Robert Wood, III, Richard Tyson Wood and Michael Bragg Wood. She had thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and beloved little dog, Tebby. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She will always be with us in our hearts and in our thoughts. We love you. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. at Lakeshore Funeral Chapel, 1815 S.
