Douglas R. Haug, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2003.
He was born in Prescott, AZ. June 29, 1924. Doug served in the 13th armored division of Army engineers during WW II and received various awards including the Bronze Star medal. He also served as an army engineer in the Korean conflict. He was a graduate of Phoenix Union High School and U of Az, Tucson. During his lifetime he was involved in the construction business, specifically in the roofing industry. He was active in Kiwanis, and Salvation Army and a member of all Saints Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dolores of 56 years and twin brothers John and William (Nancy); 15 nieces/nephews; 26 grand nieces/nephews and 20 great grand nieces/nephews loved their Uncle Doug.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, 15649 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ. Saturday, February 22, 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Doug Haug Memorial at the church.
