The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Helen W. Hepler, 79, passed away Feb. 12, 2003 peacefully at home. She was born October 14, 1923 in Duquesne, Pennsylvania; the daughter of Clyde and Clara Wolford. She married W. David Hepler Jr. June 26, 1946 in the Grove City College Chapel in Grove City Pennsylvania. Mrs. Hepler graduated from Grove City College and taught school in Pennsylvania and Ohio during the early years of their marriage. She did her graduate work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and Clarion State Teachers College in Clarion, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife and mother to her three daughters. She is survived by her husband W. David Hepler Jr., a retired USAF Pilot. Daughters, Dava D. Crain of Three Rivers, California; Megan L. Bourke of Lincoln, California; and Kerry L. Hepler of Long Beach, California. Grandsons, David Hepler Bourke, Thomas Robert Bourke and Grand daughters, Shana Michelle Crain Hartsell, Sara Beth Crain and Kathryn Lynn "Katie" Crain. She and her husband have been residents of Apache Junction for 27 years and most recently living in Mountain Brook Village at Gold Canyon for the past 10 years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity or to the Grove City College in Grove city, Pennsylvania in her memory. Memorial Services to be held February 17, 2003 at 2pm in Mtn View Mem Gardens Mortuary, 7900 E. Main, Mesa, AZ, with visitation from 12 noon to 2pm. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
