SALTMARSH, Bjorg Marie

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Bjorg Marie Saltmarsh May 2, 1929 February 8, 2003. Born in Kopperveig, Norway on a beautiful spring morning, Bjorg passed from her battle with cancer and is off walking a new path. Bjorg immigrated to the United States in 1947, at age 18, and settled with her uncle in the Seattle area. She trained as a nurse, married, and started her family. In 1972 she married Russ Saltmarsh whom she loved and cherished for more than 30 years. Their years together have been spent in the Seattle/ Belfair, Washington area and Mesa, Arizona. Bjorg leaves her adored husband Russ, her children Mike, Rick, Tina, Su, Scott and their families; her sister Erna and brother Jens and their families in Norway; her grandchildren Michaela, Rikki, Dylan and Nicole; and an incredible number of dear friends.
