SPANN, Earl Glendon, Sr.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Earl Glendon Spann, Sr., of Peoria, passed away February 8, 2003. Born in Drumright, OK. He was the third child of Willis H. Spann and Elizabeth Alexander Spann. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during WWII. He was an oil field worker with his father and brothers in Oklahoma and Wyoming. He was a retired Teamster in Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Juanita and his brother Willis. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, his daughter Carol June and his son Earl Glendon Spann Jr. Grandchildren, James, John, Trisha, Jennifer and Rebecca. A memorial service will be held February 21, 2003, at 10:30 AM, National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85024. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
