Laura Anna Sweinhagen, 82, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on Feb. 12, 2003.
Laura's life was filled with joy, energy and enthusiasm, and untiring commitment to her family and to God. She loved learning, caring for others, and singing in the choir. She will be remembered by us all for her ability to see the best in everyone and in every situation. We will love and respect her always and forever.
Laura is survived by her son, Richard Sweinhagen; her daughters, Myrna Horton and Julie Wechsler; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She is now with her husband, Carl, her parents, sister, brother, and so many other friends and relatives in Heaven.
The family extends special thanks to the caregivers at Casa Teresa and Sunshine Village who cared for her during her struggle with Alzheimer's.

Memorial Services will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4300 N. 82nd St., Scottsdale, AZ on Thurs., Feb. 20, 2003, at 11 AM with a private burial at the National Cemetery.
