The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Dorothy Seeley Van Dyk, 80, a Scottsdale resident passed away February 8, 2003 and was born in Oakland Calif. She attended Woodbury College, earning a bachelor of Science and Commercial artist degree. She also was a WWII Navy Vet. As a well known artist, Dorothy traveled extensively and left a legacy in her many gouache paintings, depicting the wildlife she loved so dearly. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband William. Services will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery on February 18, 2003 at 10:00AM. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
