YATES, Dorothy Marie

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 16, 2003 Dorothy Marie Yates, was born September 20, 1935 in Erie, Pennsylvania and passed away on February 8, 2003. Dorothy was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 2407, and was a past madam president of the auxiliary. She worked as a CNA for many years and retired from the State of Arizona in 1995. She worked as a merchandiser for Hallmark until 2001. Dorothy was widowed in 1995 and is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Gavette and Patricia Scruggs; granddaughter, Angel Booth; grandsons, Justin Gavette, David Scruggs and Charles Booth along with various nieces, nephews and a brother living in Pennsylvania. There will be a graveside service held on Sunday, February 23rd at 11:00am at Rest Haven Park Cemetery located at 4310 E. Southern Avenue. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Rest in peace, Mom. We love you. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
