KUREK, Juanita L. (Peg)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 22, 2003 Juanita (Peg) L. Kurek, age 94, passed away on January 18, 2003. Juanita moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1970 from Kewanee, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in Jan. 1995. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Mary (Howard) Jakobson of Glendale, Az., her son, Lt. Col. Robert A. (Carlene) Kurek (retired) of Manassas, Va., her grandson, Robert A. (Gayle) Kurek, II, and her great-grandson, Conner Kurek. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Lutheran Church, 7161 N. 56th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. Courtesy of Pat Wilson.
