The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 17, 2003 Lawrence Edward Lane, Jr., 76, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away February 14, 2003 at his home. He was born November 25, 1926 in Davenport, Iowa. He had worked for the Magna Copper Mine as a diesel mechanic. He is survived by his mother Gertrude Ester Cook, son Laurie Lynn Lane, daughter Julie Ann Colby, son Scott Edward Lane and daughter Kathlene Mary Brothers, one sister Judith Roma; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, February 20, 2003 at 2:00pm at Green Acres Chapel of the Light, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, with a visitation on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 from 6:00-8:00pm at the mortuary.
