PECK, Charles Irving


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 22, 2003 Charles Irving Peck, 93, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away Jan. 17, 2003. He was born in Minneapolis, Minn. on Jan. 16, 1910 and moved to West Chazy in 1916 then to Plattsburgh, N.Y. where he worked as Men's Wear Dept. Manager for Montgomery Ward until 1960. After moving to Arizona he continued his career with Montgomery Ward until retirement in 1975. He was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge #621. Survivors include his wife, Catherine; son, Bruce (Barbara) Peck of Albany, N.Y.; step-daughters, Nancy (Lou) Durivage of Sun City and Rosanne (Rick) Jordan of Phoenix; step-sons Jay (Nita) Freeman of Sun City and Eddie (Gloria) Freeman of Goodyear, Az.; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews survive. Visitation will be at Noon with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003 at Menke Funeral Home Chapel, 12420 N. 103rd Ave., Sun City, Az.
