Abrupt End of a Courting - 

Topeka, Kansas Dec. 23, George Larkin. of Wabaunsee county, was calling on Miss Ida Rankin, in the same neighborhood, Sunday night. 

Larkin occupied a seat under a large, heavily framed picture suspended from a nail on the wall. The wire broke and a corner of the frame caught Larkin on the top of the head, causing concussion of the brain. His injuries are considered fatal.
