BONN, Mercedes (Mercy)

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 18, 2003 Mercedes "Mercy" Pino Perez Bonn, 83, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully at her home with family in attendance, on February 14, 2003. Mercy was preceded in death by her husband Gustavo "Gus" and her son Robert Edward. She was born January 24, 1920 in Swansea, Arizona, began her family in Ajo and settled in Phoenix in September 1942. She created a loving home for her husband, children and grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with a beautiful garden and her wonderful homemade tortillas. She will be missed by sons, Daniel (Pat) and David (Pat), daughter Elizabeth, six granddaughters, four great-grandchildren and her dear nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 held from 6:00-8:00 P.M., with Rosary at 7:00 P.M. at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix. Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, February 20, 2003 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 909 S. 1st Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
