The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 22, 2003 John Edward Prevo, 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away January 16, 2003. Born in Monett, Missouri to parents George and Martha Prevo. A decorated veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Cora E. Prevo, a native of Phoenix, Arizona, on December 26, 2002. He is survived by seven children, Martha Lou Waller, Phoenix, James E. Litchfield, Az., Ronald A., Phoenix, Marjorie Herr, Phoenix, Richard W., Glendale, Az., Ruth Nerison, Tucson, Az., William R., Phoenix; sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Hansen Mortuary, 8311 N. 7th St., Phoenix, Az. Gravesite services at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N.
