Virginia Castellanos, died peacefully February 15, 2003 after losing her brave battle with Alzheimer's disease. At her time of death she was surrounded by her devoted family and friends.
Born March 21, 1924, she lived in Miami, AZ until she found her lifetime love, her husband Chano (Felix).
They moved to Phoenix where she spent the rest of her life with her family, daughters Patricia and Diane, son Richard, granddaughter Danielle and most recently great-granddaughter Isabella.
She is also survived by her sister Connie and grandsons Joshua and Cory. All will remember her for grace, beauty and ever-present smile. She will also be remembered for her intellect and wisdom. She was most happy in the comfort of her home, reading or gazing out at the magnificent garden that her husband created for her.
Visitation will be 6:00 9:00 P.M., with Rosary at 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 19, 2003 at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, followed by Mass at 9:00 A.M., Thursday, February 20, 2003 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix, followed by burial services at St. Francis Cemetery, 2033 N. 48th St., Phoenix.
