PAPPAS, Diane Marie

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona February 18, 2003 Diane Marie Pappas, 78, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away quietly at her home on Feb. 17, 2003. Born in Chicago, IL on Nov. 1, 1924, she moved to Arizona with her family in 1977. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James M. Pappas, and will be dearly missed by her three children, James Pappas, Suzanne (Don) Guyan, John (Sarah) Pappas and two grandchildren Nicholas and Emma. After retiring from Salt River Project in 1988 she continued to enjoy a life filled with the love of family and friends. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapel #365 in Gary, Indiana and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Visitation will be from 6-8:00pm, Tuesday at Messinger Indian School Mortuary with a Trisagion service at 7:00pm. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Ave., Phoenix, AZ processing to her final resting place at Paradise Memorial Gardens.
