The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, January 22, 2003 Joseph P. Umbertino, Sr., 83, passed away January 17, 2003 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on March 15, 1919, in St. Louis, Missouri. He served his country as a Seabee in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Olive, granddaughter, Jeanette Ann and sisters, Josephine Cummings and Lena Musick. He is survived by his daughter, Josette, son, Joseph, granddaughter, Jody Corley and great grandson Cody Corley. His is also survived by his sister, Angeline Sandstedt, and brother, Albert Umbertino. Visitation, Thursday, January 23, 2003, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:30 p.m., A. L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral Mass, Friday, January 24, 2003, 10:00 a.m., St. Jerome's Catholic Church, 10815 North 35th Avenue.
