METROLIS, Curtis James

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, December 18, 2009 Curtis James Metrolis, 49, was born into eternity on Monday, Nov. 16, 2009, at his home in Prescott, Ariz. He was born July 13, 1960, to William and Charlotte Metrolis in West Palm Beach, Fla. He was an exceptional artist and avid music lover with an ardor for the greats of jazz. He is survived by his best friend of 23 years, Larry Maddux; one brother, William of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and two sisters, Charmaine of Gilbert, Ariz., and Diane of Los Angles, Calif. He was also a loving uncle of his nieces, Megan and Erica West, and nephews Eric and Alonso Law. Curtis will be remembered for his great sense of humor and his love for life.
