MAJORS, Thurel R.

The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Saturday, December 19, 2009 Thurel R. Majors, 85, of Cottonwood, passed away December 16. He was born on December 14, 1924 in Yuma, Colorado to Floyd Majors and Grace Smith. Mr. Majors attended Boulder High School. He worked with Hutchinson Homes for 27 years. He was a master painter and loved traveling, hunting, fishing, cars and his family. He is loved and missed by all who knew him. Mr. Majors is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys M. Majors and daughter Karen L. Felt. He is survived by son Larry Majors (Sandie) of Centennial, CO; sisters Lenora Strobel of Littleton, CO and Betty Majors of Englewood, CO; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
