Edward Thomas Crockett, born January 2, 1913 in Pueblo, Colorado, passed away on January 18, 2003 in Covina, Ca.
He and his three sisters and two brothers grew up in Phoenix, Az. where he was part of the second graduating class of Brophy Prep.
He married Ruth Erwin in Phoenix, Az., on May 10, 1937.
He is survived by daughters Judy Nicklin of Glendora, Ca. and Susan O'Hara of Scottsdale, Az., five beloved grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He began his career in the railroad industry in Phoenix as a young clerk with the Wabash railroad, and retired in 1974 as the Western Regional Manager of the Norfolk and Western Railroad.
He was an avid golfer and winner of many championships and trophies.
He was a gentleman of wit and wisdom, and was adored by his family and many friends. He was our gentle giant, and he will be missed.
Memorial services will be held On February 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Forest Lawn Covina Hills, Ca. at the Church of Our Heritage.
Interment will be at St. Frances Cemetery in Phoenix, Az.
